Pope Francis has announced an extraordinary Year of Mercy, to begin on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Dec. 8th, 2015 and concluding on the Feast of Christ the King on Nov. 20th, 2016. He asked that all Cathedrals throughout the world designate a special Holy Door as a Door of Mercy which St. Paul Cathedral will endeavor to keep open 24 hours a day for the devotion of this Holy Year for prayer and visitation of the Lord.
Bishop Tyson and St. Paul Cathedral extend an invitation to all in our Diocese to visit the Cathedral, pass through the Holy Door of Mercy, the front (main) entrance doors of the Cathedral, and gather for Mass and special pilgrimage during this Holy Year , preferably with others from each individual parish.
Holy Rosary has been assigned Jan. 31, 2016 at the 11:00am English Mass and 1:00pm Spanish Mass as our Parish Sunday. On this day, the St. Paul Cathedral Parish will pray for our Parish community, publicly recognize pilgrims from our parish and extend a warm greeting to all visitors. Refreshments will be available after each of these Masses in the Assembly Place.
